Thank you Dr. Billy Beaufils
After initiating and formulating the Coalition of Young Christians of Philadelphia an organization that provides Spiritual, social, educational, and recreational activities for hundreds of youths throughout the City of Philadelphia year round, Rev. Dr. Jean Billy Beaufils primary dream and vision was to see a pastors’ association where the Spiritual leaders would promote Christian values and gather the Haitian community as a force.
Rev. Beaufils formulated and organized the Haitian clergy of Philadelphia on April of 2003 where he served as president & CEO since 2003. The pastors of Philadelphia would like to thank Dr. Billy Beaufils for allowing the officials of the city and the states to know about the Haitian Community and treat all Haitians with respect and dignity. Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Beaufils, the Haitian Clergy of Philadelphia, Inc. is reaching out to over 65,000 Haitians throughout Philadelphia and vicinity allowing the Haitian community to become a major force in Philadelphia.
The reverend Dr. Jean B. Beaufils has demonstrated the admirable qualities of Christian leadership and character, and have lived by the principles that adhere to our society making our community a better place in which to live. Reverend Beaufils’ wisdom, endurance, vision, courage, determination, and unselfish commitment of time and energy can only bring further appreciation from all whom have come to know and thus respect him.
He serves as a symbol of hope, charity, and love. He has demonstrated the desire and commitment to serve others with an untiring, pleasant spirit, and time-honored commitment to assisting pastors, friends, families, and the Haitian community represents the value of community services, civic responsibility, and humanitarian efforts. Though reverend Beaufils has accomplished many great things in his life such as 3 masters’ degree in Theology, Christian psychology, counseling psychology, and a Doctorate Degree in theology in the finishing, the example he has set for all Philadelphians has been his greatest impact on the future of our commonwealth.
Even though you are leaving Philadelphia, you will always live among us. Many thanks to you brother for a job well done here in Philadelphia
